I drink my coffee black and do not like to drink motor oil that they serve at certain nationwide chains. I really appreciate the blend of Hawaiian beans, I usually drink 100% Kona. This blend was fantastic and I will say its the best Hawaiian coffee I have ever had. It does not need sugar or cream, having it black is sublime and a great way to start the day. Excellent job blending this coffee. Highly recommend.

I find your site a little user unfriendly. It's okay if you fit into the boxes you have set out but is not set up for any exceptions. Also the area where one is supposed to enter promo codes is set up in an area that is easily missed. For example, a friend and I wanted to split a 10 pound order and set out to determine what roasts we wanted. We both wanted dark roast Jamaican but it was not available in your selections. I phoned you and your rep told me it could be ordered by use of a special request area where I was supposed to be able to tell you that I wanted a dark roast, which I did. I understand that dark roast is more expensive than medium but your rep stated that on a large order this could be forgiven, though I did not look for a bargain. If it turned out that it would be a little more I was willing to pay, after all you do charge a little more to get Jamaican and if I had to go a bit more again at least I would get what I wanted. This was not the case. I placed my order asking for 4 lbs. of dark Blue Mountain and filled out the special request area asking for it to be dark roast. I was unable to find the box to fill in my promo codes, but you were gracious enough to send them along anyways. When the order arrived , quite speedily I may add, I received 9 of the ten pound order we had split and the other coffees I had also ordered. The blue mountain was regular roast, not dark as requested. I called back and talked to your rep. I am not sure if it was the same fellow as before or not. He was quick to send the missing pound of coffee (mmmMocha) and then started fumbling around on the medium versus dark problem, stating the price difference. I told him that I had had no objection to having paid a little more if need be though the initial rep I had talked to did not mention that the price would be higher. At first rep #2 seemed to be willing to send out the proper roast and I return the medium but soon dropped that option due to the cost of shipping from me to you. After a bit of head scratching he offered a 5 % discount on the order which was a bit of compensation but I still did not have the jewel of our order- the dark roast- and the only way I could get dark roast was to order it, costing me an extra $95 and leaving us with 4 pounds of coffee we really would not have ordered in the first place. He said he would speak to the person who filled the initial order and see why the request was missed but if he did so that info was kept in house and was not shared with me. So in summary your web site is confusing and not user friendly. It works for you people but not for me, and it lead to order confusion . I have no complaints on the quality of your coffee other than reg. roast Jamaican not being anywhere as enjoyable as the dark roast. All that being said it will be some time before I have gone through the coffees I currently have but after that I am not sure if I will be ordering any more. John
Exactly as it should be. Bright forward taste, medium body and silky smooth with a slightly nutty chocolate finish. Perfecto! I only wish I could order it more often.
I get all my coffee from Gold Star as their standards are excellent! I purchased the dark blend of Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee. It arrived in just a few days and as usual the coffee is smooth with NO bitter flavour. I also received several bonuses all of which are very useful. Two half pounds of a Hawaiian blend arrived with my order and both my wife and I have really enjoyed it too. As a matter of fact I will order some of it next time as well. Thanks Gold Star!

The coffee is great though I was saddened to not get my mug etc during your promotion. After checking my receipt and the promotion fine print I see that I was $11 short on my order. Wish there was a prompt of some kind on your website to advise like other retailers do. Definitely would have ordered more to get me to required amount. It's a minor thing but disappointing too.

People that don't enjoy coffee often say that it doesn't tastes as good as it smells. The Yemen Red Mocha Haraaz AA+ is most definitely an exception to this statement; rich, full bodied and more flavor than most other premium coffee. Better yet- the perfect caffeine content. This coffee is as good at night as it is in the morning.

I ordered a pound of 50th in my order including 10 lb bags of differing coffees. I received a lb of 50th black, and what I assume was a 1/2lb gift of regular 50th. I wanted a lb of regular 50th not 50th black. I also wish i had waited until black Friday to make my purchase so i could benefit from the special offer. I'll be sure not to order 50th if I place any future orders

I love Gold Star! I get green beans and roast them myself and they are always fresh. I also love all the goodies they put in their free shipments. They are also very fast to respond to any issues. The Kona beans do not taste like the Kona I usually buy direct from a Kona farm. . . not even really close.
