Having just started using whole beans and grinding my own coffee, this was a birthday present to myself. The timing couldn't have been better as my order arrived the day before after being roasted the day. The morning of my birthday I opened the bag of Kona and the aroma, even before grinding, instantly awakened all my senses. I like my coffee strong and black so after brewing to my taste I savoured my first cup before adding cream and sugar to my husbands. Needless to say the pot was gone within an hour. As I write this I am savouring the first cup of Maui Red Catuai-Top Crop, another amazing taste experience. Thank you Gold Star, I can't wait to try the rest.

The Coffee Gods have spoken, amazing coffee, did a combo pack and had tried a couple today (Jamaica Blue Mountain and the 50 Blend that i forgot and they added for free) and this is what coffee is, great roast, great taste, great service. Had a small shipping hiccup, not their fault, holiday and weather, but they were ready to fix it if needed right away. Will be ordering again for sure. Aeropress, 20 grams medium-fine grind, filled half with off boil spring water (no human contact or processing until we bottle from source), let bloom 30 seconds, gave a stir and filled to top, 1 minute soak and 1 45-sec-1-min press. Perfect!

I recently ordered the 6lb coffee combo 2 Jamaica blue mountain pea berry, 2 Hawaiian Kona AA and 2 Puerto Rican yaucco. The package arrived in 2 days and included some extra’s which I appreciated very much. The coffee is roasted perfectly, the beans are all uniform in size and have a slight oil on the surface. It is hands down the best coffee I have had so balanced and smooth I drink it black. The combination of the quality, cost and service is unbeatable. I will only get my coffee from Gold Star!

I enjoyed the coffee, but found when I weighed the bag that it was almost 1 ounce low in the weight. I have a good scale and compared the weight with other 16 ounce packaged items that showed as weighing 16 ounces. At this price per pound, I feel the company should carefully check their scales.

Their beans roast up very will and everyone in my family loves them (well, after I put some work in to it) On the off chance that one of the shipping boxes gets damaged in route to my house, and one or two of the bags inside are damaged, GoldStar has your back! This combo option they have is a wonderful way to have the opportunity to try and sample different beans from around the world! And these are really good quality coffee beans, so you will end up with an exquisite taste that dances on your tongue!
