Gold Star has come through yet again! Four more pounds of KONA! This is no 10% blend. The taste is so good that I'm drinking at least a full 30 oz pot daily. Doctors may agree/disagree regarding the maximum caffeine allowable daily, but I'll ignore either position. Just tastes wonderful! And the price is just the icing on the coffee cake!

I'm hoping I just under roasted the first batch I did. Coffee was a little thin bodied and flavor was a little woody. Lacked the depth and body I've had in other Blue Mountain coffees. Don't get me wrong, out wasn't bad, just not what I expect from Jamaican coffee.

Over the years I have been searching for a good coffee. Full body with a foundation and taste. I have found it. MMMMidnight is the one I prefer. It is so popular in my neighborhood that neighbors come to my kitchen for a cup of coffee. I have a story to tell. My neighbor had a cousin who visited, and they came to my house for coffee. She said I had a cup of coffee and all I drink is one cup. I drink it with cream and sugar. My neighbor said try my coffee. She tried it and drank 4 more cups. No sugar no cream.

As always, this company is very swift and professional, I order today and I have the freshly roasted coffee on my door step within a day or two. This particularly type of coffee was just ok, not great. I thought it will be the same Jamaican blue coffee that I received in my 6 combo packages, but it is not. It is not that strong, with a mild and dull taste.

I haven’t ordered in a while. As expected, the coffee is exceptional but I noticed the packaging has changed. The bag opening is much smaller making it harder to fit my coffee scoop in. It creates a mess. Disappointed in that change.

We have been buying coffee from Gold Star for years. Why? …they have a wonderful selection of coffees from around the world that other coffee roasters simply do not have. All their coffees are great but we do have our favourites. Service from Gold Star is excellent and delivery is quick - they roast your coffee when you order it so it is always fresh. They also let you order 454 gr (1 lb) bags which is a great quantity compared to to other coffee roasters which offer smaller bags.
