Top quality coffee and regular market prices.
The coffee is top quality. Service is fast and reliable. The prices are reasonable. But the main thing is the quality of the coffee. It is difficult finding Costa Rican coffee. The Hawaiian and the Jamaican is also very good for the price. It is refreshing to find a roaster that doesn’t need to over-roast lower quality coffee to give it some flavour. The City Roasts I order are distinctive and flavourful.

If you want to try great coffee at a great price, Gold Star is the winner. So far I have tried the Costa Rican Black Honey and Hawaiian and both have been exceptional. The flavoured coffees (both decaf and regular) are what I always get. I love them and the flavours are fantastic!! The small company I used for flavoured coffees in the past does not provide them anymore, so I needed to find an alternative company. This one is great and has really exceeded my expectations! My last order was pretty large and they included a free hat, bag clip, and mug!!! So cute. Love this little company. Shipping was speedy and emails updates wre great. The decaf is great tasting too, I can't tell the difference between them and regular.
Simply the BEST
Great price on packages of coffee that are a POUND not 350g. Coffee should be packed in pounds and at Goldstar that's what they do. A lot of ""roasters"" now package in 350g but still charge a pound rate or a lot higher. Don't waste Your time and money shopping around, these people have the BEST coffee for the best rate.

Ordering from Goldstar is a snap. Delivery is crazy fast. Appreciate that beans were ground to my specification, packaged and prepared for delivery same day. Since Im still a new customer, Im having fun trying out most of the favours with each multiple pack order I make. So far, I prefer mmmMocha to Kenyan. Would have liked to report on several other flavors I purchased but I used them as hospitality gifts instead :-) . My coffee loving friends prefer these to wine or flowers.

World Class Provider
I have used a few well known names previously and they all failed poorly at a point and worse did not resolve easily when issues did arise. I’ve been using Gold Start now for several year (prob 7-8yrs or so) and have been virtually flawless in all that time. There were a couple of issues but George ALWAYS called me directly (from my emails) and went WAY beyond anything I would have asked for to resolve. They would have to fail miserably multiple times for me to leave them now and I certainly do not see that happening. Oh, and the coffee (usually Wallenford Estate JBM) is FABULOUS every single time without fail. I don't often leave reviews but have for these folks a couple times because they deserve the recognition in my opinion so worth doing so. Not many companies operate like this anymore.
