In the next to last order, 4/4 Jamaica vrs Maui, the Jamaican coffee left a little to be desired. Having lived in Jamaica for several years, I was used to the finest. . . not what you sold me. McCoy, you might not realize, is a very respected name in Jamaica.

Recently bought several types of coffee. I drink my coffee black. Black Honey was awesome and the Black Honey Geisha was even better. I had some of my go to Jamaican Estate and tried the High Caffeine coffee - it has a punch! Always great service and fresh beans. Love the variety and the bonus coffee.

Uniform size and appearance with very few defects. My only wish is that more varieties be made available unroasted, especially Indonesian. Then I'd have no reason to shop anywhere else. :)
Roasted in a FreshRoast SR-500 to onset of 2nd crack and filtered through a Vietnamese coffee phin (yes, 100% stainless steel. . . . the horror ;) ) I actually prefer this to Yirgacheffe but Sidamo is still the top Ethiopian IMO.
I go to Jamaica every winter and bring back enough coffee to last me a few months and then I start ordering from gold star who's always given me the best product at the best price. The beans are roasted the day before. I get them. Fresh and tasty. Other blends like Kona are also fantastic

I have been buying coffee beans from Gold Star Coffee CAN for about a year now. They have very nice selection of coffee, reasonably priced. They delivery is super fast which very important to me, so a big Thank you for this! Roast level is usually quit accurate (to my liking) only got a few times when the beans were ""over-roasted"" (all beans were oily). In my view Gold Star Coffee CAN is the best place to buy coffee beans.
I love the freshness of Gold Star Coffee. The beans that I received had been roasted just a day a before shipping. As well, their service is second to none. Extremely fast shipping even across the country.
I ordered 2 lbs. of the Hawaiian Kona coffee beans, and my order arrived in a timely fashion. The coffee is smooth and delicious and doesn’t bother my stomach at all. The only reason I removed a star is that there does not seem to be a way to communicate with the company to ask anything about your order. For instance, there is a menu for you to crest your own combo flavor of coffee beans, but no place to specify which flavors you’d like to mix. I did write an email to the Java King address on the website, but did not receive a reply.

I’ve ordered the 1lb Jamaican Estate ground coffee before. It’s for me a treat to brew. This particular blend is a sweet fruity acidity. I drink with a little French Vanilla cream. Will order again!

I have a a few Rwandan coffees in the past weeks, and this is at least as good as, if not the best I have had.
I decided to write a second review now that I've been using this coffee for a longer time. It's hands-down the best flavoured coffee, decaf or regular, I've ever had. Others smell amazing while they're brewing but have very little actual taste. This brand does something magical that imparts a lot of flavour that persists through the brewing process. And the price is great too.

Coffee is consistently great! I love the variety! We always get flavoured coffee. My wife’s hooked on mixing together the French vanilla and banana split , me I like a variety, I’d say so far Toasted Marshmallow and Egg Nog are my favourites. Also the Mmmmmocha one is another I like to order.

All beans roasted to date have been of excellent quality. Evenly sized beans allow for a fairly even roast. My choices- I leaned toward the mocha flavours- were superb.
