Well, since you ask, we're not delighted with the first batch of coffee we bought from you (Jamaica Blue Mountain Peaberry). To our taste it's over-roasted, too much like generic coffee with little individual character. It's better as espresso/cappuccino than our weekday French press style, but still not great. Is any of your coffees less heavily roasted?

I purchased 10 lbs of JBM wallenford dark and really enjoy the coffee. In saying that I do feel The beans could be roasted for a short while longer. . . I’ve purchased The same brand from two other sources and really enjoy your packaging, shipping time and roasts although I think you could roast abit longer for your “Dark” JBM wallenford. . Overall , two thumbs up. . .

We have kept in our pantry stock, Jamaican Blue mountain coffee for over 20 years. Gold Star has provided the freshest beans above all other providers. Low acid and no bitter taste. I order for myself and my Son in-Law. I have to drink Decaf and I really like the Kona Decaf. My son in-law tries many different beans, seems to like the Jamaicans. I find this site very easy to use and the product is very good. We like the ability to try may types of beans. I like to be able to get Swiss Water Process decaf. Delivery times are very quick.

Beyond any doubt Gold Star Coffee is the best tasting, best roasted coffee in the WORLD. We have tried roasters all over Ontario, Alberta, Australia. . . including Wild Bean and Yahava and You Guys beat them all. As soon as I tear open a new bag of Jamaica Blue Mountain or Kona and get that first whiff of Your coffee it just brings it all home. You can taste the difference with this one. This Jamaican blue mountain coffee blows my wife and my mind. It is so freaking good. It keeps us alert and so happy in the morning. It is so smooth and incredibly balanced. It is the dark blend that you crave when you want aroma, taste, and bitter balance. Buy this coffee. Starbucks is just as expensive and they are an awful corporation. Canada gold star knows this blend and destroys the competition. Thank you Gold Star!

I occasionally buy coffee from Gold Star coffee and I have to say that I'm never disappointed. In terms of service, the company is top notch. On my recent order, I missed a promo code offered on orders like mine. Gold Star Cofree was kind enough to contact me, let me know they added it for me anyway, and threw in a free complementry scoop. The coffee itself is some of the best I've ever had. They take pride in their product by including a pamphlet that tells when the beans were roasted, best brewing practices, and other info. It's not the first order I've made and it definitely won't be the last. If you're on the fence about this for any reason, take it from me: give it a shot. You won't regret it!

The coffee came very quickly and I forgot to add the special code numbers, my fault new customer. That was recognized by your people and they added the half pound of kona beans anyway. I ordered 6lbs of the jamaican blue mountain and my son and myself went through the first pound in a hurry lol no differance between the 1st and 2nd . the coffee is everything I was hoping for and more . I grind and use a percolator,and also a French press. I thank you for your great coffee and look forward to making this a long lasting friendship.
