Still evaluating my purchase. I usually buy from another supplier but thought I would give Goldstar a try. I have tried Brazilian bourbon and it appears mild/weak. Currently using Guatemala Antigua which seems better. No definitive decision yet.

I've purchased twice through Gold Star and have been pleased with the process - nice selection, easy order process, quick delivery. Pricing is a bit high (about 1. 5 to 2x) when compared to buying 'off the shelf' locally, but this is fresh roasted and delivered to my door. Pricing is on par or slightly lower than many other small batch roasters I've seen. Overall, Gold Star is a great place to shop for your coffee. Five Gold Star.

Maui Red and Jamaican Blue Mountain Pea Berry were the flavors, Maui Red was succulent rich in flavor, while JBM-PB was extraordinary in the sense that I can't taste any flavor at all, but with the perks of a strong caffeine; this helps those who are looking for a coffee that doesn't need sugar to balance out the bitterness, but it's weird at first try. That said I can't stop drinking, it's very well produced product that won't disappoint. The reason there is no perfect 5 star in this review, is I wish Gold Star would label with a side sticker what type of grind was used on the bag (grounded for perk or press), as a result I haven't been able to determine how being pressed changes from being perked just yet. A great experience with Gold Star! First step the very fast delivery, then, when I got the coffee, wow! Professional packed and the mixture of the smell so many kinds of coffee ( I bought a 6 lbs ,each lb of a different kind)!!!It is a dream for coffee lovers like me!. All the coffee I bought is the best quality, very fresh roasted. I am looking forward to buy more. Anytime a company throws around the idea they have the best of this or are the best of that I am immediately very skeptical and assume they may be good but just another advertising exaggeration. I have searched far and wide for the best place to get outstanding coffee beans without jeopardizing my retirement account. Somehow I came across Gold Star Coffee initially on Amazon looking for a source for authentic Cona coffee and it was so good I looked up the company and started ordering direct. Today one of my favorites is the Wallenford Estate Jamaica blue mountain. People tell me it's so good you can eat it. I now can say Gold Star Coffee absolutely has the best coffee I have ever experienced and my exclusive source for beans. THANK YOU GOLD STAR!!!
