I typically blend jamaican blue with kona and esspressso beans. . . scrumptious! I ordered flavoured coffee to replace pods for the Keurig. The creme brulee tastes and smells like coconut. No company (and I’ve tried several) comes close to the Van Houtte flavour. What a waste of money. The other flavours are good.

I tried Panama Geisha coffee five or six years ago in a little cafe in Malaysia. I fell in love with the taste at first sip. Thus, I was excited to learn that the coffee was available at Gold Star Coffee and purchased it immediately. I received my order in a few days. My package of coffee beans was well sealed. When I opened the package, the aroma was fresh and pleasant. I brewed myself some coffee and when I drank it, I could taste the citrus flavour in the Panama Geisha. I really enjoy drinking this coffee. The next time it is available for purchase at Gold Star Coffee, I will order it again.

I ordered two separate flavored decaf coffees: snickerdoodle and the custom blend of snickerdoodle/vanilla. I wasn’t a fan of the custom blend, but the snickerdoodle on its own was yummy. I would order this flavor again.

I always buy from goldstar; they have all of my favorites and among them is the Wallenford Estates Jamaican Blue Mountain. The latest shipment did not disappoint, it was full bodied yet mild and pleasing to the palate, the aroma is irresistible. This has to be the finest medium roast coffee you can buy.

Thank you for giving my emergency supplies. My normal source was not roasting for another month. So I gave your Kona extra fancy a try and was not disappointed. Your roast is slightly darker than my normal source which took me about a cup to adjust to. But after that, I have to say I have been very happy with this brew.

I roasted some beans to first-crack, fast-cooled and waited 24H before grinding and sampling using a stovetop mocha pot. The roasted beans were uniformily dark and shiny. The coffee was bland. Twenty-five dollars for a pound of raw beans equals about $30/pound once roasted (20% loss during roasting). What a rip-off for junk coffee!

I am a coffee snob. I drink only coffee I find flavorful. I like coffees that are medium or light roast & body, sweet (not sweetened by sugar but by the absence of bitterness, character. I prefer flavored coffee. Your Creme Brule is nice. Your Orange Brandy is OK but I have tasted better elsewhere. Your After Eight is the worst flavored coffee I have ever tasted, so bad I threw out both bags I bought. It smells & tastes like gasoline. You might change the name from After Eight to Gasoline. Of your top line unflavored coffees about 1/2 of the Gift Box coffees are OK. When I buy a 10lb order of coffees you include a bonus sample package of unflavored coffees which are usually nice. Thanks for them. The best coffee I have ever had n my life was at a roadside ""variety store"" on a Guatemalan highway en route to Tikal. Made in a 60-cup urn, it was a medium roast with zero bitterness giving it a ""sweet"" taste & aroma. Suggestions: Get rid of After Eight. Improve Orange Brandy. Eliminate bitterness. Provide a variety of medium to light roasts. Your best work is very nice. Keep it up & thanks.

Jamaican Blue Mountain is my favorite by all means. For the taste in my mouth - rich, smooth, full-body, no sourness. For the pleasure of the whole effect clarity in my head, alertness without nervousness, long-lasting feeling. The Kone coffee I tried the first time, it is good but i will stick to the Blue Mountain, more to my taste. Customer service is excellent.

Although this doesn't really taste the same as eating an After Eight, that doesn't take away that this coffee is best served black. Just absorb that flavour and scent on it's own or with sugar. I find it lingers for quite a while each swallow and makes for a good in-between coffee.
