Ordered a bag for some friends, but my expectations weren't very high as I'm not a banana fan. However, the friends love it, and when they invited me over to try a cup, I was blown-away impressed. The banana flavour was very subtle and mixed very well with the coffee. I might even order it myself the next time I buy from Gold Star.

This coffee is delicious. I've never drunk black coffee in my life but I tried the Gold Star with nothing in it and it still tasted good. Very smooth and easy on the stomach. Too bad it's so expensive but it's worth it!

A close family friend got me onto Gold Star Coffee. They have the best selection so many varieties. I can’t even choose a favorite because they are all so tasty fresh. . . Hawaiian Kona, Peruvian Macchu Picchu, French Roast, mmmMocha and Yauco Selecto too name a few. I am notorious for forgetting the coupon code but they always have me covered and include it for me. Although my usual purchase is Jamaican Blue Mountain Estate, I thought I would give this coffee a try. Turns out I like it every bit as much!!! I have always preferred to drink my coffee black and this BLACK HONEY is not only delicious but complex with just a touch of sweetness. I like how I can see the 3 different beans in this blend. I don't have to mix the Kona and the Maui myself which I love individualy as well. The Kauai Peaberry coffee seem to add a hnt of nuts. Very well balance and smooth as silk.

I went to Jamaica, for my honeymoon. On a tour we went to a coffee plantation, coffee was good. . . but it was over roasted. Gold Star is perfectly roasted, with slight oils on the beans (city roast). Usually I QC my coffee beans before I grind (conical burr grinder). . for broken beans that have been burnt, and just small pieces you will find during roasting. . . Gold Star is extremely clean coffee beans. . . Wow !!! no waste at all. Gold Star #1
