The coffee is great. I have bought twice so far. I have shared the coffee with several friends and family members and they love it too. The order arrives about 1 week to 10 days after you place it, fresh roasting, so budget that time in when ordering. I try to just run out when I reorder. The variety of coffee is good. My first order was just kona and Jamaica blue mountain. My second was more varied and the flavors have been in point. I'm definitely ordering again in the future.

In the past couple of months, I have bought about 10 different coffees from Gold Star. Not once was I disappointed. I drink my coffee black and prefer single origin over blend. But I made an exception for the most recent purchase of Gold Star's Cafe 645. I'm glad I did because it far exceeded my expectations. I was intrigued to learn that it is a unique blend of 2 rare reserve coffees created by Gold Star's Founder and Master Roaster, Constantine. Using 2 different roast levels and blended in different percentages, the result is awesome! It is simply the best coffee blend I have ever tasted, hands down. Not surprisingly, it has become my favourite. Hats off to Constantine for his exceptional creation!

I'm hooked on several flavored coffee combinations, and now make them at home with the help of an automatic milk frother. Not only better than Starbucks, but saves me a lot of money too!

I like this beans when roasted in medium, but I don't like producing bit too much chaffs upon roasting, My roasting method the is the use of pop-cone maker may affect to this result.

I bought some Panama Boquete from Gold Star recently. It was impressive. It's an easy drinking coffee, mellow and smooth with a subtle citrus note. Medium roast gives it more body and flavour. This coffee is versatile. It tastes equally delicious when brewed with V60, French press or as an espresso. I highly recommend it! You won't be disappointed.

If you're going to buy Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee, this is the place to buy it. And not just because it's substantially less expensive here than at the Wallenford website. Here it's $17. 50 per pound, where it's $64. 99 per pound on the Wallenford Estates website. Maybe because Gold Star buys in huge quantities. Regardless, it's very good coffee. I will continue to buy from Gold Star.

I was impressed by the elegant packaging of my first order of Gold Star Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee Beans from Penlyne Castle. I was equally impressed by the aroma of the coffee beans the second I opened the sealed bag. My wife also commented on how aromatic the coffee beans were. I was even more impressed when I tasted the coffee in the cup. It was everything I expected from a JBM coffee. I loved how smooth it was on the palate. It has just enough body without feeling too full. Well balanced between sweetness and acidity, it has no discernible bitterness. It took me a few tries to get the brewing right for the best result. But, once the brew method is dialed in, this is a coffee I can drink all day and not get tired of. With small batch artisanal roasting, it compares favourably with many other JBM estate coffees offered elsewhere. What a great coffee at a great price!
