This is my go-to unroasted green coffee beans right now. High quality beans without noticeable defects. It is uniquely fruity with rich flavour (wild note) room filling aroma, and if roasted dark, it will taste more of the chocolate without bitter after taste. Really satisfying to the eye and olfactory nodes. I've been roasting it to give as gifts to friends and family and they have been all delighted by its depth of flavor and freshness. Gold Star Coffee has been excellent to order from. They have good selection and prices with a quick delivery service. Very satisfied. Thank you!

The coffee was very good. I liked the previous batch of Wallenford better. The Penlyne was slightly more acidic and not as nutty as the Wallenford in my opinion. Bought one pound to try it. Will stick to the Wallenford.

Like all Gold Star coffees, the Kona Extra Fancy Coffee is great - fresh, rich, and flavorful. I've been using Gold Star for several years and they have great offerings, and are QUICK to ship. Decided to try a new coffee. I ordered a medium roast, I remember that there was a red package. Don’t laugh, I’m not a professor or expert in the coffee field. I look for NOT BLACK roasting. My coffee machine is not designed by for these type of beans. And I just can’t understand the logic of the “Gold Star” company, why not write “light”, “medium” or “black” roast on the package?! Or does it look cheap? I understand that the more expensive, the simpler, clearer and more convenient the information should be presented for the buyer. I ordered in a red package, I received a black one, I see that the name is the same, but I can’t find the type of roast anywhere on the package! my nerves hurt my stomach, I understand that t decided to try a new coffee. I just received my first order from Gold Star Coffee of JBM Peaberry and have to say that it is some of the best coffee ever. Compared to some that was 3x the price ordered recently, this Peaberry was just as good. Using a DeLongi Eletta super auto machine, it is easy to make a fair comparison since the strength of brew can be selected. I highly recommend and the price can't be beat. Not roasted until order is received for guaranteed freshness and shipped right after roasting.

I have tried other sources, and have always come back to Gold Star, quality taste and consistency is the only reason. Ordered the Ultra Premium Kona and the Ultra Premium Blue Mountain package and they are both perfect! Best drinking coffee on the planet! Gold Star's coffee and their service is superb! They are the only company I purchase from.
