I own a construction company and have been on the bean for 15 years. Up until a couple years ago, I always had an upset gut and burning burps in the late mornings and it nearly drove me to giving up coffee altogether. I saw this low-acid coffee on Amazon one day and decided to give it a go and it rocked my world. Not only did the gut issues disappear, but the taste is divine. I drink coffe black, French press with long steep and the flavor from this bean was unbelievable. So smooth, no trace of bitterness (even with 10min steep). The first sip in the morning always starts me off with a smile.

It's just better than others. I tried another so-called 100% Kona recently and it wasn't anywhere near as good. Clean and great taste, every time. I won't make that mistake again. It's Gold Star only.

I'm a home roaster and have purchased several varieties of green bean coffees in the past from Gold Star and have always been very pleased. Recently I thought I would give them a try on their roasted Kona and was impressed enough that I purchased 10 lbs. of the Jamaican Blue Mountain. I like the way they post the roasting date on their coffees also.

I make a blend of the various coffees. 1/2 of the blend is Peruvian. The others are equal amounts. I make espresso and these coffees are great. I'm sure other blends are also good, but I prefer organic. I read were coffee is heavily sprayed, not sure but I want to stay away from chemicals. The 5 lb. fair trade/organic is Perfect!!!
