The Honey Geisha was the most amazing first cup of coffee I’ve tasted! Smooth, no aftertaste, no jitters, just the right amount of caffeine. I drink my coffee with a splash of cream, however I could see myself drinking this black, it’s so smooth. One thing to note is that it was much better as coffee than as an americano option.

Taste is clean, mild, with hints of sweetness and creaminess with no bitterness, Wallenford coffee is the best among other flavors I have ordered from Gold Star and other coffee roasters. Packing each 1-lb bag with additional outer jute bag makes it looks impressive for gift giving.

In my latest order, I added the Santo Domingo Barahona to my selection of Latin American coffees and found it quite different from the others with a less pleasant aroma and a somewhat odd taste compared with my favourites Honduras Macala and Costa Rica Terrazu which I will stay with next time.

In Ethiopia there is the Sidama, the Jimma, the Yerge Shefe, but the queen of Ethiopian coffee is the Harare from Harrarge in the east. Gold star does perfect cleaning and roasting. Broken beans reduce the quality of coffee. Thank you Gold Star

the coffee beans as bought were green and unroasted which would have normally been a problem but that is exactly what I ordered due to wanting to roast them myself in my big weird cast iron pan. If you want to order beans and then do a bad job of roasting them yourself then you should buy from here, but they also do a very good job roasting the beans themselves which id recommend highly. Five stars.

As I write, my cup of Blue Mountain is fresh in my hands - whether you press it or perc it, it will be the freshest best tasting coffee you'll have in Canada hands down. I order it whenever I can afford too, but times are tougher, my only regret I can't order as much as I used too. Love it though, truly - don't take my word for it, try a bag yourself and test if you don't come back after that.

Black is good. I order because I always buy Gold Star Kona and just to try Black. Slightly less flavor than the Kona which to me is fine black or white, with or without sweetener. Try the Black, it is good but I'll stick with my many year favorite Kona. Best Kona in world, including coffee you buy drink IN KONA. Mahalo

Need drinking this Kona for many years. So odd but I frequent go to Hawaii including Kona on big Island and tried many coffee there, never find any as good as this Canadian roasted Kona The Black is good too but lacks some of full flavor of the straight Kona. The Kona is fine black or white with or without sweetener. I'll stick with it but the Black is good too.
