First time customer, purchased single origin Columbian Supremo, Sumatra Mandhelling and Ethiopian Harrar. We tried the Columbian coffee first and wow it was great and it was an enjoyable cup of coffee. Can't wait to try the other two. Will definitely reorder. Excellent customer service, email communication of every step and super fast delivery. Really impressive!

Since I live 3 hrs away from the roaster I have my coffee shipped. Extra fast shipping, for example , I ordered coffee on Monday afternoon and recieved the 10 pounds the next morning!!!! The coffee is superior and the choice is large, different coffee growing areas. Single origin is roasted at city level, but many dark roasts are available also. And the price- very fair, the bags are a full 454g., 1 pound, Needless to say I am extremely happy with Gold Star. They get a gold star from me

I'm an on-line, US customer. I found Gold Star about 6 years ago, and sine then, it's been the only place where I order coffee. I buy about 30 to 50 pounds of coffee per year. My wife and I drink most of it, but I also give a pound to family, friends, and neighbors. In early 2025, when the morons running my country imposed ridiculous tariffs on shipments from Canada, there was a brief delivery issue. But, Gold Star created a workaround that makes the shipments timely again. We love our favorites, but we also love the variety. Every bag is perfectly roasted. Gold Star is, in my opinion, the world's best tasting coffee.

This coffee is probably the best coffee I've ever had in my life right up there with the other cup of best coffee I had in Yokohama Japan there have been no others this one meets it. And the company is so ethical and their services are so good they deliver quickly and if you buy more about $60 or more delivery is free and it's also fast. And find a bit of extra coffee putting it in your freezer till you're ready to use it is not an issue. Plus they only roast the beans on the day they're going to be sending out your coffee. And honestly I have one cup of coffee in the morning and it has to be perfect. This one it's at bill on all counts.

Great service from start to finish. Very professional and the coffee... Wow! I order low acid coffee as it usually give me terrible indigestion. Not their low acid 50th blend. Mmmmmm. Come of think of it, I'm going to have myself another cup right as soon as I'm done writing this!! Great coffee at a fair price. Who could ask for more!! Even ordered some of that Jamaican Blue for company... Whenever we can have company again lol!! Cheers! *Update 11Jan26 - Just as amazing as always. For years we’ve been purchasing from Gold Star Coffee. The great prices on Jamaican and Kona coffee brought us to Gold Star and the superior quality beans, roasting and customer service has made us loyal customers. For the best value, we buy the 10 one pound variety pack. We often give a one pound bag of Kona or Jamaican coffee instead of wine when we go to friends for dinner. It’s always well received and commented on. The shipping is always fast and the coffee is freshly roasted. The other varieties of coffee are excellent too.
I shared the four packs of coffee beans with my friends as Christmas gifts. All of them were impressed by the aroma immediately. My espresso machine is not a top brand, but I still can get very beautiful crema. I used these dark roast beans for latte, very nice balance of coffee flavour and milk. I started purchasing high-quality coffee from Canadian online sellers about two months. I received my first order from Gold star a few days ago. I purchased three bags, each of which was a full pound in weight (most sellers offer just 12 ounce bags). Shipping was free, and the freshly roasted coffee arrived in just two days. I am almost finished the first of the three bags: Yemen Mocha Harraz AA+. I have to say that this is the best-tasting coffee i have had since i began drinking good-quality coffee. I am developing the palate needed to fully appreciate good-quality coffee like this. I can say that i like this coffee very much. The aroma is fantastic, the coffee is smooth and displays nuanced notes as described. As my palate develops, i will enjoy these high quality coffee's even more. Gold Star's service is top-notch. Great value. And judging by this first bag, offers excellent coffee. My experience with Gold Star Coffee has been exceptional. Evan has addressed all my concerns. I would like to specially mention the Jamaican Estate reserve and the Kenyan Kaguyu Grande reserve as being our favourites. The coffee was freshly roasted and tasted devine.
