I am a new coffee drinker but I wanted to support a local business while getting great beans, so I get the best of both worlds! Went to the store to pick up and the staff were so friendly and helped me a lot! Tried Jamaica Blue Mountain and it was so good. I can drink it black and too think for years coffee would never be my drink of choice. Until now! I will shop here for ever. If you are not local, they have great shipping options as well!

I have been a regular customer of Gold Star Coffee for a year now and I absolutely love their Jamaican Blue Mountain whole beans. Their beans are of the highest quality, roasted fresh and delivered promptly. The coffee is sweet perfection, so smooth with a clean finish. I have been dealing with Gold Star for many years....These guys do have the "BEST" coffee on the planet..!! I would QC my JBM from a "previous seller", about 5% of a bag, would have broken beans that were burnt when roasted (it was time consuming to remove the defects)...But with Gold Star..I just pour it straight out of the bag into my Coffee Grinder...Gold Star is constantly the best in taste, and quality....They have "never" disappointed me.

Second time ordering from them now. First time I was a little hesitant. 10lbs is a lot of coffee... And it's a lot to get through if the coffee sucks lol. A lot of money too. Reviews looked good enough to risk it though. Glad I did. The coffee is excellent. Personally not a fan of the Honey Process coffees, but the Blue Mountain, the Kona, the Jamaican Reserve, the Yemen, and the mmmMocha are top notch. Order arrives quickly, fresh roasted, good price for higher end coffee. Priced it out to about 16 cad a pound, which is about 8 dollars better than buying premium in store for us. We ordered 14lbs this last time lol. Tried some of the flavoured coffees. Pumpkin spice one is really good.

Simply a brilliant company with staggeringly good products and almost more importantly with a customer service experience that could be used as a policy study case for a Harvard MBA. I placed my order on the US site in error, I received a courtesy phone call alerting me to that , I received a discount and refund to cover the exchange rate fee incurred by my mistake and a bonus bag of coffee!!!!! Incredible customer service..

I order green coffee beans and they always ship very fast in excellent one pound bags I can reuse. The beans are fresh and high quality. They also send samples of roasted coffee and throw in a mug or a few other goodies. Outstanding and fast service when I have questions. One issue is the Kona green beans. They do not taste like Kona beans...not even really close.

I was impressed by the elegant packaging of my first order of Gold Star Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee Beans from Penlyne Castle. I was equally impressed by the aroma of the coffee beans the second I opened the sealed bag. My wife also commented on how aromatic the coffee beans were. I was even more impressed when I tasted the coffee in the cup. It was everything I expected from a JBM coffee. I loved how smooth it was on the palate. It has just enough body without feeling too full. Well balanced between sweetness and acidity, it has no discernible bitterness. It took me a few tries to get the brewing right for the best result. But, once the brew method is dialed in, this is a coffee I can drink all day and not get tired of. With small batch artisanal roasting, it compares favourably with many other JBM estate coffees offered elsewhere. What a great coffee at a great price!

My first experience with Gold Star was the Hawaiian Kona at a Cafe in Palgrave, Ontario. I thought it was the best cup of coffee I ever had. So I searched it out online and ordered some. I was going to get 3lbs of the Kona and 3lbs of the Jamaica Blue Mountain because I've heard it's really good. I ended up getting 1lb of six different coffees. So far I've finished the Hawaiian Kona and I'm deep into the Puerto Rican Yauco. Both are incredibly good coffees. I very much look forward to trying the other four types that I have.

I gave it five stars because I can't give it six. My wife and I argue as to whether Kona or Jamaican Blue Mountain (JBM) is the best coffee in the world. Gold Star doesn't make it any easier to find common ground(s) by selling the best Kona and the Best JBM available. So, to keep peace we have to alternate. What a wonderful problem to have. Thank you folks

Great quality and great service! We recently decided to buy only shade grown coffee to help save birds from extinction. It is more expensive and they are more difficult to find, but we think the birds and the environment are worth the extra cost and burden. We live in Ottawa and had found some suppliers locally, but the choices were limited. Gold Star Coffee Inc. has a great selection and its combo special offer allowed us to try 4 different kinds of fair trade/organic certified coffees, at a slightly reduced price as a bonus. Also, to be able to have the coffee delivered is very convenient. The order arrived relatively quickly in five well sealed 1 lb bags. We froze four of them immediately and have now just opened the 3rd one. It's like opening a present every time we try a new one! I certainly would recommend buying Gold Star Coffee.

My search for reasonably priced Blue Mountain/Hawaii Kona green beans lands me to Gold Star website. At first, I thought it is a US site. I am surprised to find out that they are located in Toronto. I submitted my order for 6lb sample pack and received a shipping notification 15 min. after. Amazing! I will post another review once I receive and roast my beans.
