Over 20 years and hundreds of pounds of coffee,not one bad cup. They are always on time. This last order, there was a discount I didn't know about. Three days after my purchase, I noticed a credit on my card. I had forgotten to put in a code. They added it and credited my card. All I can say is " if your not buying your coffee from Goldstar Coffee,WHY NOT?"
I have received my coffee for many years from Gold Star and not only do they have the Best Coffee they also have the best customer Service which is as important, I highly recommend them and there coffee...
Stopped into Gold Star Coffee on John’s Island, SC and it’s exactly the kind of place you hope to find when you’re searching for a great local coffee shop - i was obsessed! The cortado was excellent, smooth, balanced, and perfectly pulled. We also had the breakfast burrito, which was hearty, flavorful, and clearly made with care, a great grab-and-go option that still feels like a real meal. Beyond the food and coffee, Gold Star Coffee has an awesome assortment of well-curated products, from specialty goods to thoughtful pantry items that make it more than just a café stop. If you’re looking for great coffee on John’s Island, a solid breakfast, and a shop with personality, Gold Star Coffee is absolutely worth a visit. Plus the owner was super nice and welcoming!

I have been purchasing coffee from Gold Star for years and have never been disappointed, Quality products, excellent and prompt service. I recently made an order and forgot to use the coupon code for free coffee and a discount on the price. I sent an email and received a response within minutes correcting my error, granting the discount and including the additional coffee. Gold Start Coffee is the best. George is a wonderful ustomer service representative. He answered all of my questions thoroughly, and was super friendly. Their coffee is always roasted to perfection. I start my day with the Swiss water processed Kona decaf and mix it with other coffees sometimes to give a smooth, rich creamy flavor. The day they go out of business is the day I stop drinking coffee.

Well, I HOPE I'll like this coffee: I ordered it the morning of Nov. 20, and it was shipped 5 days later, on Nov. 25, despite the announced 1 day processing time. It is now not slated to arrive until Dec. 1 by 9 pm. I am disappointed in the speed and feel misled by the statements about processing and shipping times on the website.

I got the biggest bang for my buck buying coffee from Gold Star Coffee. With quality coffee getting harder to find and more expensive, dealing with Gold Star Coffee has been a dream. The coffee is truly awesome, but the customer service is what really shines. They got out front on the troubles the tariffs have made for them. They do their own cross border deliveries. No fooling around. No waiting. In addition, I emailed a question on about shipping and I received BOTH an immediate email response and a phone call. This is a serious company that treats their customers right.
Absolute best, keeps getting better! Gold Star Coffee has been the only coffee I will buy for years and I was worried about the tariffs making it off limits! They’ve designed a new system to ensure the freshly roasted beans are still arriving in the same time and not stuck in customs. My recent order arrived in one week and not only had my favorite 10 pounds of individually packaged Jamaican Estate Reserve, but the 2 free bags of Ultra Premium 50 blend AND amazing Black Friday gifts! A beautiful Gold Star Coffee hat, Gold Star Coffee travel tumbler and bag clips! Absolutely fabulous customer service to match the best coffee beans in the world. Yes, I’ve traveled to many lands, and this is the best. Even the UPS man asked for the website after the aroma of fresh beans in his truck sparked his cravings for a fine cup of coffee! There isn’t a roaster anywhere who could compare in quality, service or price!

I have been ordering coffee online for a few months, and keep coming back to Gold Star. They have a great selection of coffees. I am still working through the large selection of coffees. I am working my way up to choosing a couple of roasts as repeat orders. Not one coffee has been disappointing. Gold Star is consistently efficient in the order and shipping department. Orders arrive quickly. Highly recommended!
