well, for most of the people coffee is just coffee they don't realize that many different origin coffees have different taste depend on from they are and how they roasted but generally coffee from gold star tasted differently, nod just like /COFFEE/ which you drink every day

I roasted these wonderful beans to City+ and was surprised to how good it tasted using both Espresso and Pour-over brews. If you are a roaster, I recommend extending the Maillard phase for 3 minutes and dropping 2 minutes after first crack. This will ensure you get all the right flavors out while at the same time maintaining some sweetness and acidity.

I can only review on the Jamaican that I ordered because we haven't tried the others as yet. I do like the coffee and am looking forward to trying the others as well, I can only hope they are as good. The one that intrigues me the most is the Malawi order, we tried some in a small batch from another company and wished we had bought more! That was the best ever.

It did not meet my expectations. Why? I needed to use more beans to get the desirable results. When I did, the coffee was excellent. The distinct character of the Kenya AA became evident. It appears the designation ""Kaguya AA"" brought a smoother enhancement. May need an dark roast.

We found the coffee to be very good, smooth, and a rich flavor. So far I have roasted it at a Medium roast which I think is probably the best way to roast this coffee, but will try it at a slightly darker level next and compare them. Thanks for this great coffee.
