Needed some decaf and ordered the Santa’s Kiss - cinnamon with touch of orange peel. Very subtle but none the less delicious. Added a little Gran Marnier and whipped Cream!

No matter which coffee bean I order, they are all remarkable in their own way. Super fresh and roasted to perfection. Jamaican Blue Mt. is my favorite but the Kona and Ethiopian Harrar are amazing. We prefer medium roast.

We drink this as our everyday coffee since priced so affordably. I first drank BM on my honeymoon in 1986 and have been a fan ever since. Very smooth without the acid that a lot of coffee gives. Of course the Estate is the best for everyday indulgence this fits th3 bill.

The best purveyor of excellent coffee/coffee beans that they scout and pick from all over the world to bring to our homes for our enjoyment. They are very responsive to customers and the coffee beans are not roasted until you order them so they come fresh to your door. I look forward to brewing the coffee I got every morning as the aroma permeates the whole house. The coffee tastes truly fresh and the ones I got were almost caramel in flavor and never bitter even if you add more coffee ground to the brew. Excellent coffee from truly expert coffee bean selector and roasters.

Their Kona is from Greenwell, which is my among my favorite Kona growers. But their 50th is far more complex, with cascading flavors that emerge in the first few seconds as you begin to drink the coffee.

Have tried others and always ended up disappointed at some point, usually on the customer service end. I have been buying here for I think 3 or 4 years now and ALWAYS have had great coffee and when there have been the inevitable minor hiccups they were always very responsive with immediate resolutions. My experience says there is not a better provider of great coffee AND service.

i have a pretty serious espresso machine and have had dozens of different roasts at home. Usually i find Blue Mountain smooth but almost insipid. This one is fantastic, with waves of flavor. Bitterness, like the membrane of a freshly shelled walnut. Taste of leather and tobacco, like a great cigar. And over all, a kind of cherry blossom / cherry fruitiness and fragrance. But with controlled acidity. Amazing.

The design of this cup is perfect Double wall construction keeps the outside cool wile maintaining the fluid temperature due to its excellent conductive heat barrier. The shape adds to the thermal insulation by constricting slightly at the top decreasing evaporative and convection loss. Comfortable and easy to hold. The cup tolerates being on a warmer plate if you are sipping rather than drinking. Of course, can't be reheated in a microwave.

I get a box of assorted Gold Star Coffee for my wife as a Christmas gift every year. It's the one thing I know she will love. The Kona Extra Fancy and Ethiopian Harrar are favorites, but every coffee we have tried has been tasty. It's always roasted fresh, delivered quickly, and I usually find a little something extra in the box. It's quite possibly the best online shopping experience out there.

I have been buying fresh bean for so long, I can’t remember and have shopped around all those years until I purchased beans from GOLD STAR roasters. I always purchase the custom combo packs, so I can switch to a different coffee each day. I recently ordered Constantine’s ‘CAFE 645’ and it is the best roast been I have ever had. . . not to say that their other coffees are not right up there, a head above any others roaster that I have tried. Just saying, I would give Gold Star a total of 6 STARS!

I Recently purchased 10lbs of the Black Pack and decided to add the CAFE 645 and give it a try. WOW! I don’t usually buy blends, preferring single origin coffee beans, but when I received my shipment, the first thing I noticed was the aroma coming from one bag. I opened it and brewed myself a cup. . . ‘WOW!’ It was the best cup of roasted beans that I have ever had. So here I sit with 9 pounds of the Black Pack and wishing I had included at least 4 pounds of the CAFE 645 in the pack. I am a very sharing person with my coffee and I will always make them a cup of Gold Star, but when it comes to Cafe 645 I will just let them smell the beans. I am pretty sure that is all that’s needed to sell someone of this blend. Just one more thing, I don’t know how many years I have been brewing with fresh beans, but at least over 35 and it’s been maybe 5 years since I found Gold Star roasters and they are truly the best coffee and service that I have ever received. I can’t say enough good things about Constatine’s great company. I salute you!

I've purchased a variety of Green coffees. I roast my own and experiment with different roast levels. I've bought: Jamaica Blue Mountain, Hawaii Kona Extra Fancy, Maui Red Catual, Puerto Rico Yauco Selecto and Guatemala Antigua. Although Jamaica Blue and Hawaii Kona get most of the praise from coffee aficionados, I find the Maui Red Catual, Puerto Rico Yauco Selecto and Guatemala Antigua to be my favorites. I sometimes make a blend but find the single origin to be the best. Although I'm still trying different blends looking for the perfect cup. Gold Star also has the best prices and the shipping is quick. Great company!!!

Great overall experience. We placed an order and in the notes I asked if it was possible to get one of the bags ground differently. I received an updated email with my purchase and they made a point of responding with my ask and took care of it. There was a code to receive a free bag based on what I ordered and I forgot to add it, they added it for me and send the free bag with the order-Very nice. Overall it was great. Was pleasantly surprised to find this site after searching for where to get Puerto Rican coffee beans. On a trip to Puerto Rica I enjoyed the best tasting coffee I have ever had. Searching for coffee beans from there, I discovered how expensive and hard to get they were. I stumbled upon gold star coffee and read how they imported beans and roasted them using high quality methods. I took a chance and ordered some Puerto Rican coffee beans. It arrived quickly and was much more reasonably priced then anywhere else I had tried searching and I felt more comfortable that they are a Canadian company/site. I am thrilled with the results of the coffee, the delivery speed and price. Needless to say I would highly recommend them and will be ordering from them again.
