I have been ordering Fancy Kona green beans from Gold Star for the past few months, and absolutely love them. Arguably the most cost effective green Kona beans that I've seen and they taste great. I always get a consistent roast with very little chaff and the beans are also uniquely larger in size than most others. Shipping is free and always arrives on time with tracking. Excellent job.

Very nice beans, fresh roasted. Brewed as espresso and drip. Espresso produces a very nice crema. Both methods result in a low acidity, slightly sweet and very aromatic coffee. Love it

I ordered blue mountain peaberry and It was ok for the price. I found coffee taste was a bit more bitter and less fruity and less smooth than I usually buying JBM peaberry from competitive seller in Quebec. (30% more expensive). Maybe it's coming from different estate But if you are not very picky this is good coffee to buy. Shipping is fast. Brewing method :Jura espresso

Gold star coffee is top notch coffee! I used to buy Hawaiian Kona from another great coffee company, but once I tried Goldstar, I never went back! Evan took the time to answer my numerous questions re: coffee types, flavours, roasting process, etc. Upon placing my order, I was unable to find some of the flavours that I wanted, so I sent an email. Within a few minutes, I received a lengthy, cordial reply from George Gold, addressing all my concerns, and promising me a sample of a flavoured bean. My order arrived so quickly……less than 48 hours! My husband and I have been drinking flavoured coffee for decades. We are always on a quest for superior quality - both in intensity of flavour and smoothness of underlying bean. Until covid, we had been travelling into the U. S. and purchasing 10-12 pounds at a time. (The Fresh Market). We drink 1-1 1/2 pounds of coffee/week. Gold Star is superior to most if not all the brands and flavours we have used. (We do miss some flavours that Gold Star does not offer. ) We have to date (within the past month) tried 8 flavours and have not been disappointed. The response and delivery time for processing our order has been so quick! We I made a mistake in grind required, I was contacted to clarify what we wanted.

We’ve been using Gold Star Coffee’s espresso beans for about 2 months (7lbs. ) now and like it very much. It’s not too bitter, it’s smooth, flavourful and aromatic. We mostly make Americano’s as our morning coffee x3. It’s a pleasant enough coffee that I’ve even given up putting milk in it. Delivery is ridiculously fast and free with a decent size order. I was hoping for a more pronounced flavor. It is so difficult to find a full bodied flavorful decaf coffee. I have a heart condition that doesn't allow me to have caffeine and it is just not fair that there are so many flavored caffeinated coffees but none for me in my local area. Yours are good but not great, better than nothing.

I made the mistake of buying Geisha Coffee from Panama. The coffee from Gold Star takes the cake. Beats the Geisha hands down. And the 1/2 pound of coffee ""thrown in"" with my order was a pleasant and very much appreciated surprise. Ordered on 12 February, roasted on 13 February, and delivered from Toronto to 'Vancouver on 17 February. How does one top that for service? Quality coffee, quality service - why would I shop anywhere else. . . I learned my lesson buying the Geisha - sticking with Gold Start through thick and thin. . . thanks. . Wayne
