Kona Decaffeinated
I generally dislike decaffeinated coffee, but Hawaiian Kona is an exception; it hasn't lost any of its flavor in the decaffeination process. I was pleasantly surprised by this coffee, and will definitely be ordering more.
Good to do business with
I go to the all the reviews and even the bbb rating to make sure I'm not going to be getting ripped off. Gold Star really past everything and then some and really deserves the ""Gold Star"". Bought the 4 lbs special of Hawaiian Kona Extra Fancy and the smell and flavor is the same as you would get in the restaurants in Waikiki. Thank you Gold Star Coffee!

I am not the one to write reviews but read them to help influence my purchases. I have tried several varieties of the coffee and have been pleased with every one. I have some personal favorites and really enjoy them. The site features such a nice variety that one can avoid getting in a “rut”. The coffee is excellent and their customer service matches the product.

I’ve purchased from Gold Star for years. The product is excellent and authentic not a 10% mix with supermarket coffee. The prices are very reasonable as well. It takes a week to get the coffee but it’s worth the wait. In my recent move I found an unopened bag of Kona coffee beans that was almost 2 years in storage and after grinding it had a delicious pot of coffee. The bags the coffee comes in are remarkable. Highly recommend this coffee.
My Sunday Coffee :blush:
I spend a lot of time overseas, and though they have good coffee Gold Star Jamaican coffee is my favorite. I drink blend through the week, but Sundays are for Gold Star. Sometimes if I have company, that I really like, then I make Gold Star. (only if I really like them ) Gold Star is by far my favorite coffee.

Always like to read what other people think. Coffee seems to be like Cigars for flavor perception not everyone can taste the same.

Great Coffee and Variety
I ordered the 6-pak and have only tried the Black Honey (and the sample bag) thus far and it is excellent! The roast date on the bag was only a few days prior to when I received the shipment. I'm going to open the Jamaica Blue Mountain bag tomorrow and I can hardly wait. I WILL be back for more.

Better than the Big Island

The solid and awesome Columbian coffee flavor
You know Columbian coffee from gas stations? This has hints of that but way way way better. Not as the Jamaican Blue Mountain but singularly bold and quite Delightful.

I've been a happy customer for several years. I tried another brand of Jamaican Blue and it didn't taste right. It was either not truly Jamaican Blue or it wasn't roasted correctly. I hurried back to Gold Star and I'll never stray again. Gold Star Jamaican Blue Mountain City Roast Coffee is above the excellent rank which means, in my opinion, it's perfect. (I drink it black only)

I have been searching for a great flavoured Orange coffee
since my husband and I left Saskatoon. To say I have tried many companies is an understatement. I just received the Orange from Gold Star and we are extremely happy with the flavour, as well as this company using excellent beans to flavour. Most companies use very low grade beans when flavouring. We are 100% going to order more Orange, as well as regular beans. Highly recommend this company.

I have only tasted 2 types of coffee beans (Costa Rico black honey and Yemen red) both are excellent coffee. I am now tasting the gift beans. It is good but surprised that it is roasted. As I ordered all green beans, I had expected it should be green as well. But this is okay, I need to consume it first before I try the ones I have ordered.

Grabbed a bag of a custom flavor. Hazelnut / Coconut, in addition to my regular Jamaican. I occasionally add a few beans to a cup for a hint of flavor, or do a 2 scoop regular with 1 scoop flavored for a pot of French Press, Amazing flavor, will for sure be trying other flavors in the future.

We have been ordering Jamaican blue mountain coffee for so many years. We used to try so many different brand of coffee beans, but we never find a really good one. After ordering with gold star coffee, we are additive to their blue mountain coffee now. Their customer service is great too, so for sure we will continue ordering coffee from them.

Jamaican blue mountain peaberry, 50th and Tanzania peaberry are by far my favourite but you can’t go wrong with any coffee from here especially the South American coffee like Yauco selecto AA or the Costa Rican coffee. I've purchased two 8lb. orders - a variety of single origin, African and Central South America. I'm no expert barista, I do grind my beans with a quality grinder, some drip and some espresso. I use a Moccamaster and a Lelit Bianca. I've no complaints, each variety has been very enjoyable. Fast shipment, great looking and functional packaging. I'll be back.

This is a fine tasting wonderfully flavored coffee. I love it! In retrospect, I wouldn't have had it ground ""fine. "" It floats too much when brewing and ends up in my cup. But the packaging warned that that would happen. Now I wet it down a little first, in the filter cup, before I start brewing. That seems to solve the problem. But next time I won't grind it ""fine. "" But the taste is worth every ground at the bottom of the cup!! I give it a ""gold star!""

It has taken me a while, but once I got the grind right this is a smooth, flavorful coffee without bitterness. The trick was to make my grind less fine, bit by bit to find the point where any bitterness was gone! In addition to easy online ordering and consistent delivery times, the little tips and extras that they send with their shipment just make for successful home brewing!
