We’ve been using Gold Star Coffee’s espresso beans for about 2 months (7lbs. ) now and like it very much. It’s not too bitter, it’s smooth, flavourful and aromatic. We mostly make Americano’s as our morning coffee x3. It’s a pleasant enough coffee that I’ve even given up putting milk in it. Delivery is ridiculously fast and free with a decent size order. The best coffee available!!
We have been buying coffee from Goldstar Canada (and nobody else) for a couple of years now. Their selection of rare coffees is remarkable and so reasonably priced. We have the good fortune of having traveled to several coffee producing locations, including Maui, Kona, Kauai, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Guatemala and Jamaica. The coffee from these locations that Goldstar roasts and sells is definitely as good as we’ve tasted in those places, and, in the case of the Hawaiian and Jamaican ones at least, fresh roasted and delivered to my front door for less than it can bought at its place of origin. We always buy 6 or 10 pounds at a time, typically a wide variety. Of course we have personal favorites, but every variety we have bought has been excellent and perfectly roasted. No harshness. No bitterness. Just beautiful complex flavour. Great coffee, fresh roasted by order, beautifully packaged and sealed, delivered for free to our front door, typically within a week of ordering, at a very fair price. Pinch me. Always the Best
I have been drinking Gold Star's Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee for more years than I can remember, and I remain amazed every time I pour a cup, for myself or even better for a friend, at how they manage to continue delivering the best tasting coffee in the world at an affordable price. I was never a finicky coffee drinker --- so long as it was black, hot and strong, it was good enough for me --- until I decided to give them a try. Now it is the only coffee that I truly enjoy. Of course, when I am out in the real world and there is none of this amazing coffee available, I will drink other coffee, but only with some sweetener or creamer (or both) to help me forget that most of the world has not yet discovered Gold Star.
