Gold Star coffee is ground to whatever grind you want. I prefer a FINE grind. They grind the coffee shortly after you order it, package it in beautiful vacuum bags, and ship it immediately by courier so it arrives the same day or next day depending on where you live. I really love their Kanya AA coffee and every other type I have ordered. It is so fresh that I always have several cups. Gold Star is my go-to place for great tasting coffee.

I like to drink a variety of coffees, and when a friend suggested that I try Hawaiian Kona coffee, I decided to order beans from Gold Star coffees. I also tried Jamaican low acid and Yemen Mocca High Grown, and found all three to be outstanding. I plan to reorder from Gold Star.

Blue Mountain has a nice smooth flavor, occasionally I played a mixing game that I like to do. 1 spoon of Yergajeffe 2 spoons of Blue Mountain, yummerzzzz!Most of the time it's just straight Blue Mountain,3 cups every morning to start my day! :wink: Delicious :yum:

First I need to say I am appalled at all the wannabe boutique coffee roasters and blenders that have popped up all over the internet. I trust that your customers remain loyal. The grass is not greener. Just another side hustle with stupid creative names. If they've ordered from GoldStar, they already have the best. Save your money and questions on how to dispose of crappy coffee. My first cup of Wallenford, Blue Mountain in the morning is one of the best things of my day. I have introduced many people to Goldstar and they all continue to buy from here. I only buy my coffee from Goldstar. This company is exceptional. I ordered late one afternoon and my coffee was delivered the next morning. It was nicely packaged and freshly roasted. We’ve tried Black Honey and Jamaica Blue Mountain and it’s the best tasting coffee we’ve ever had. Very smooth, no bitterness and great flavour. I haven't had time to try them all, but so far so good. The Expresso I thank you for, I've had a hard time finding any good expresso. Looking forward to trying the Black Honey. Having went to Jamaica twice, this is the reason I came to you. Not bad. The only one I didn't enjoy is the free Hawian blend. It's just not for me. The Kpna was fine. We have a small roaster here in Spokane that came from Seattle. She supports Fair Trade and travels all over for her coffees. It's pretty good but I remembered when I ordered the Yaucho from you and how much I enjoyed it. Kenya has always been a favorite, so I was wondering how the Zimbabwe would be. Anyway, thank you for your coffee it's great to have really good coffee.

I’ve been home roasting coffee beans for about 8 years now. I’ve ordered coffee from many sites, and tried many different coffee regions. I keep coming back to the Kona, Maui, and Jamaica Blue Mountain beans sold here. The JBM has a clean acid bite with a smooth full bodied flavor. The Kona and Maui beans are very smooth, have no bitterness, and a sweet flavor and touch of acid. I highly recommend all of these, and you will not find a better price anywhere else.

On July 21, 2025 I ordered 4 lbs of Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee (JBM) and received a bonus 8 ounce bonus of their “50th” which is a Hawaiian blend. I received my order the next day (about 25 hours after placing my order). It appears that this is sourced from Mavis Banks as the product pictures shows barrels labelled “M. B. C. F”. For those in the know, JBM coffee is world renowned and commands premium pricing (I have seen it advertised from $89USD+), but Gold Star sells JBM at a very affordable bulk price. I couldn’t wait to try it out and ground the beans and made a cup as soon as I had the shipment. JBM coffee does not have the “boldness” that some people prefer. It lacks the bitterness that some coffees have, but is very smooth and can be truly enjoyed black. I also wanted to point out that there was a promotion going on at the time I purchased (July 21, 2025) but I did not enter the promo code. Gold Star honoured the promotion and included 1/2 lb of their Hawaiian blend (I haven’t tried it as yet as I try not to open a new package until I’ve finished my second pound of JBM (I do keep it in an air tight container). Gold Star definitely has my future business.
